ABSTRACT
Considering the fact that parents seem to be more involved in their childern’s life, this paper
aims to be a starting point in order to develop a specific programe designed to increase parents
participation, as educational partners, in school activities. Although the important role of the
family as a key element in all societies is well known, in the last decades, we can notice in our
Romanian society, a shift of perspectives with significant implications at the individual and social
level but also regarding the process of developing and implementing the social policies.
