Abstract
This article concentrates over the creation on the Warsaw Pact in 1955 and its main structure and program for all the member countries that founded it. Albania was a founding country of the Treaty, but until the end it became the “black sheep” of it. I represented Albania’s position in the Warsaw Pact, mainly by their point of view, and how did the Albanian government and its leader’s behavior towards what happened in its country during their membership years. Albania was a small country, the poorest one and without a special interest for the world, but its strategic geographic position it meant a lot for the Soviet Union and its intentions over the Mediterranean sea.
