ABSTRACT
The paper tries to analyze a few aspects of the transformations that took place inside the Romanian administrative system, including the National Archive System, and to evaluate the results of these transformations. Meanwhile, the paper will explore the private market offer towards the archive domain. Unfortunately, a very complicated situation has occured in places where the archive units were closed or reorganized, because a very important part of the documents were blasted. In the actual context, it seems that private companies interested in providing those kind of archive services can be a real solution to some of the issues created in this field of services.
